About Us

We are a woman-owned business that prides itself on providing a place for individuals to put their worries aside and take time for themselves. We know how hectic life can be and sometimes we neglect ourselves. As we know, you can't pour from an empty cup. If we continue to give others everything, we have nothing left for ourselves. That is why we want to make a safe place for all who come through our doors and help bring back your confidence.

It's not just a cute saying - it's something we truly try and live out each day. Whether you're walking through our door as a guest, an employee, or even a UPS delivery driver, we want you to feel known. That means we do our best to remember the names and faces of those who walk in here.

We also do our best to make sure your needs are met. We pride ourselves on building relationships with our guests and not just about providing an amazing service. We remember all the stories you tell us of the long days you had at work, the kids' sport events on the weekends, and even the hardships you share with us.

We cherish every moment we spend with our guests and thank them for allowing us to be a part of their lives.

Vision

Lash & Brow Design Co. was started by owner Kate Shaughnessy with the intention to create a place that all are welcome. As a mother of four, she knows how hard it can be to always put others first and neglecting to take care of yourself. She also wants to show not just her kids but others as well that you are more than capable of achieving bigger things in life without sacrificing your own needs.

We are not aiming to be like every other salon where we work long shifts and miss out on the rest of what life has to show us. We put not only our guests first, but our employees as well. In this industry, working 9 - 5 is not common. Women in this industry are expected to work long hours and miss out on family time. We say NO to that! No more missed bedtime stories, tucking our kiddos into bed, and most importantly - no more missing out on living our life.

We are also committed to being a place for you to let go of all your worries and responsibilities when you lay on one of our beds. You spend all of your time taking care of others so let us take care of you!

How We Work

We are a team-based pay and continuing education salon that greatly values investing in our team. To be able to serve our guests properly means taking care of our entire team to ensure we show up better not just for our guests, but for ourselves as well! You will often see and hear us training in the moment and many of our guests enjoy this as they learn more about the services we provide and why we do things the way we do. It has led to spreading the knowledge to our team and even to our guests who get a front-row seat to how our industry works.

Many of our guests have shared how much they appreciate and even enjoy being a part of the educational pieces as they learn about how their service works. From learning about how lash extensions are placed to make a guest's eyes appear more open to why we stretch their skin during permanent makeup!

We teach in the moment and our guests even request to have more educational content out so they can better understand their services. After all, educating and spreading knowledge is our owner's passion as an educator!
